Buckwheat is fickle at best and dangerous at worst. He is impossible to understand, as he builds walls so high around his true self that not even he really knows who he is. The son of Augustine I, he is the heir to the position of the royal Paadst, which is unmatched in its power in the country's government. He is, above all else, a tactful businessman who knows how to get what he wants. However, he is still young, and blinded by idolization of his father.
He initially supports the nationwide persecution brought about by his father, but just as Oskar Schindler was a complex person, so is Buckwheat. Nonetheless, he and his father are the main threats toward Hoje Alecksandra.
