Most who learn of the Guild of Anaist Scholars assume it to be a cult; and, truthfully, they are not entirely wrong. The guild's obsession with the liberal arts and Anaism borders on utterly psychotic.

Its members are all academics studying at Cultruous University in Ursa, Washington: Rory Kacper Antoniewicz, Yamira Yoselin Khan, Sonja Mahmudova, Nathan "Newt" Dimayuga, and Åke Bexell. There are rumours of a sixth member, but who could possibly determine the validity of these claims? The members keep their mouths shut, and they always will.

Here is the real question: why on earth would such an enigmatic headmaster such as the one heading Cultrous University be so vehemently interested in such a small club?
