Jax, despite his cold demeanor, is a rather emotional person. He doesn't know how to properly express his feelings, but he certainly feels things in extremes. People often find him rude at first because of his general desire for everything to be under complete control and done in the most effecient manner. He's often very tired (physically, mentally, and emotionally). It is very easy to get under his skin and garner reactions from him. He can hold grudges like you've never seen before. He loves being correct, and will often start arguments-- earning him the joking nickname of "Neurotic Mother"-- but, to his credit, he usually does win.
Occupation-wise, Jax is the backup singer and bassist for a second-wave emo band called 'Dog tag'. He mostly joined it to appease Liam, but ended up rather enjoying it.
