Odette Fofana is a professional speed skater who has cut ties with everyone who ever knew or loved her for the sake of her craft. Yul Ankudinova is a professional figure skater who sleeps with judges for better scores and lets them beat him half-to-death. Felipé Paulo Casteñeda is a professional hockey player who is apt to drop dead in the rink at any moment, and whose death will be met only with a universal shrug. These three are not new in their terror-- it's a story as old as time-- but their convergence at the 2010 Winter Olypmic Games is akin to the braking of the Seventh Seal. They meet, and a third of the sea turns to blood. It can only get worse from here.
