Likely the most serious and deadpan staff member of Hoje Alecksandra, Yakob is Elena's male counterpart in ballet. But there is not a single person in the world who is as obsessed with work and perfection as he is; he doesn't smile. He doesn't speak. He doesn't ever quit practicing and striving for perfection. Elena and his older brother, Roger, are always trying to get him to relax, to no avail. There isn't any arguing with Yakob once he's made up his mind.
