It's a little amusing, admittedly, to witness someone swear they are a walking tragedy when they are not. It aggravates, however, to witness someone swear this and be distinctly correct, but entirely due to fault of their own. When a person burns down the city they reside in and sob about the ashes taking the place of their home-- when they kill their lover and sob at their funeral-- all sympathy is lost. Simon Dorriety deserves no sympathy. If only he learned when to quit.
